Who we are?
We are a not for profit organisation set up by a highly experienced Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and the parents of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who have experienced first hand the benefits and significant improvements delivered by a 1:1 Applied Behaviour Analysis programme.
Reach for the Stars (ABA) ensures confidentiality and operates under the ethical guidelines of the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board and is overseen by the Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales.
Reach for the Stars (ABA) is the first centre in Wales to be structured in this way and will provide Autism therapy for children across South Wales.
Our Aims and Vision
We aim to provide children aged 2-6 years with ASD, communication and developmental delays and disorders and learning difficulties with an individualised 1 to 1 teaching programme using the science of Applied Behaviour Analysis and its principles.
Our carefully and individually tailored plans for children target stages and areas of development (physical, language, social and emotional) which assist in all aspects of daily life and learning.
Our core aim is to help children with disabilities to reach their full potential and be able to live an independent and fulfilled life.
We want to be able to provide the families of our children with a genuine and valued support network in order to work with them in an open partnership to achieve the best results for the children.
Our vision is to empower parents and young children to “reach for the stars” in their progression. There should be no limits placed on what the children can achieve. Through the science of Applied Behaviour Analysis we will ensure that your children can achieve their full potential to set them up for a more rewarding home, school and community life.
