Sally Bashir – Co founder and Operations Director

Sally is a solicitor by profession and is also involved in the management of a successful private day care centre and independent fee paying school. Sally is also a Registered Behaviour Technician.

Sally acts as the operational/managing director at Reach for the Stars and brings a wealth of management and business experience to the role.

Hannah Richards – Co founder and Technical Director

Hannah is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and specialises in early behavioural intervention for autism spectrum disorder and communication disorders. Hannah gained a Bachelors degree in Childhood and Youth followed by a Masters degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis from the University of South Wales. Hannah also has experience working in family intervention with behaviours that challenge and is a facilitator of the Incredible Years Parent programme and the Incredible Years Autism Programme.

Hannah acts as the technical director at Reach for the Stars and is our onsite Board Certified Behaviour Analyst. Hannah also acts as the Responsible Individual and the Day Care Centre coordinator (Applied Behaviour Analysis).

Sheraz Akram – Co founder and Legal Director 

Sheraz is a solicitor by profession and heads up the corporate and commercial team at Douglas-Jones Mercer Solicitors and is also a member of their board of directors.

Sheraz acts as the legal director to Reach for the Stars and deals with all its legal requirements.

Lee Bradley – Finance Director 

Lee is an accountant by profession with extensive experience across various sectors and organisations.

Lee acts as the finance director to Reach for the Stars and deals with all of our financial matters and budgets.

Nadia Walters – Centre Manager

Nadia has worked in the childcare sector for over ten years.  Her career consisted of a nursery nurse in a day nursery, where she was a key worker.  Roles involved maintaining CIW standards and regulations, caring for child’s individual needsNadia gained a Bachelors degree in Childhood and Youth followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Criminology and Criminal Justice.

Luke Stockley – Case Manager

Luke specialises in early behavioural intervention for autism spectrum disorder and communication delays. Luke has a Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis and is due to sit the certification exam in August 2018. Luke is the centre’s case manager and is responsible for monitoring learner progress, implementing new targets and training new tutors. Luke has over eight years experience with children and has been applying behaviour analysis to early intervention since 2016. Luke also has an interest in using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in the workplace and creating a positive environment for staff.

We also employ highly experienced key workers that work with the children on a one to one basis.

Please note that as we are a not for profit organisation our board of directors are not paid for their directorships. This is important to us as we endeavour to provide our services at the most cost effective price achievable for the parents of the children that attend Reach for the Stars day-care centre.
